This has been a tough year for festivals and we have all felt the impact of so many canceled events. We’ve taken a step back to review guidelines, discuss options, health and safety precautions and have made a final decision to move forward with the Full Moon Festival & Samhain Ritual on Saturday, October 31st, 2020 at Strad Meadery in Rancho Cordova.
The Northern California Black Hat Society is a faith-based organization, with our roots deep in Paganism and the old ways. As Witches, Practitioners, and Pagans - Samhain is one of our most anticipated holidays of the year as we welcome in the Witches New Year with rituals and festivals to venerate our ancestors. This year, our day falls on a Saturday as well as the night of a Blue Full Moon (second full moon in a calendar month) and we look forward to honoring this day with our community!
This is an outdoor cultural event and we will be taking every precaution possible and adhering to all current Covid19 guidelines. You can read our full public Covid19 Community Safety Statement in the Facebook event link at
We are offering to reserve designated space at this event for any local covens, groves, guilds or groups! You'll be able to bring a pop up, tables and chairs and create you own VIP Area for your family and friends!
